Hi, my name is Libby and I am working with Epoque Press (an independent Brighton based publishing press). I help with bookshop admin, to create designs for their upcoming book posters, and share innovative and creative ideas to help with their marketing.
I am also starting a placement soon with Leaping Hare Press (another Brighton based publishing press) to create and manage content for their social media account. So far I have gained a great insight into the publishing industry and developed more skills that are valuable in a professional setting.
After university I would like to do a Masters in Creative Writing or work in marketing for a publishing press.

Hi I’m Kayleigh and I’m currently studying English literature and Creative Writing. I am currently working as a publishing assistant at Èpoque Press.
I have really enjoyed learning about the specific roles within the publishing industry and utilising my creativity.
After university I want to pursue a job in publishing, which my placement has helped aid my career ambitions, while also working on my own freelance writing.
