Emma Caddon

What do you do now and what did you do at Uni?

I am Commercial Operations Delivery Director for Global Media & Entertainment. At Uni I studied Media and Digital Imaging.

If you could go back in time, what advice would you give yourself?

To believe in myself more, study harder than I did at times and not be so hard on myself when things don’t go as planned. If you keep trying and really believe in what you want to do then you will find a way.

What is the most valuable skill you acquired at Uni that you use at Uni now?

Public speaking in front of strangers on subjects I didn’t always understand or feel confident in.

How to handle the egos of others and find a work life balance.

How did you decide to get into the career you are in now?

I fell in love with radio as a side job whilst doing my degree and found the two complimented each other. I have worked in the media industry since I graduated and am very grateful for the little Saturday job in local radio that started me off.
